I have been writing a fiction story since last year, and even double spaced it is only about twenty pages long. I have been seriously stuck for the past month and i had no idea what to do . I haven’t heard of the tier method before this, and I am currently using it, for very short periods at time. And, i can already see the results! maybe not as dramatic as 2.5 k in a single sitting, but i am definitely going faster than usual; the idea of having a deadline motivates me a lot! thank you so much for this idea!

I’m the same way–if I have deadline, I tend to procrastinate up until a week or so, then bust out all the stops and write until it’s done!

And I’m a HUGE fan of NaNoWriMo for that reason, too!

A lot of this has proven to be true for me, if I have a time to write and a deadline I can easily knock out around 2.5k words in a single sitting. The deadline idea is what I love most about nanowrimo, with that I managed to to write 80k in three weeks while having written hardly anything the rest of the year.
